CST 486 Software Quality Assurance Credits: 3
This course introduces the student to the techniques and philosophies of software quality assurance (SQA) and its unique position in the broader context of overall quality assurance efforts. Topics include: process improvement, product assurance, testing, inspections, defects tracking, and measurements. The purpose of this course is to help students establish a clear understanding of what software quality is and how to implement quality assurance plans and procedures in an organizational context.
