This graduate level course takes a microeconomic perspective on heath and healthcare. Topics include major microeconomic tools and statistical tools used in health economics, economic efficiency analysis, cost benefit analysis, supply and demand analysis in health services, information and economic analysis used for insurance markets, key players in the health care sector, social insurance as well as special topics such as health economics and epidemiology.
